The red carpet scene of Dubai this year has been impressive. Between the glittering award events and the exclusive product promotions, the fashion events have been bold, beautiful, and sometimes questionable. I have been on the front row throughout it and I am willing to provide you with my one hundred percent sincere opinion concerning the looks that worked and the ones which required deeper consideration.
The Gold Gown That Stayed Everybody

This season had its most memorable moment with the presence of a floor length embellished, embellished in gold dress, at the Dubai Fashion Awards, the dress had been well tailored, perfectly accessorized and it could not be overlooked in any way.
Emerald Green Done Right

A scrumptious structured emerald power suit on the release of a big brand showed that red carpet does not necessarily need to be made out of gowns. Utterly fresh, daring and stylish, it caused instant discussion all across the web.
Ivory Draped Couture

A couture ivory ensemble worn by the guest of a high-price hotel ball was the most splendidly balanced ensemble that balanced cultural sophistication and modern glamour. A perfect line of accessories, an ideal form and a general effect that was quite truly breathtaking all along.
Midnight Blue Magic

Its deep midnight blue off shoulder gown in a highbrow awards event was pure heaven. There are occasions when a single color that has been selected out of pure belief suffices a red carpet look.
Monochrome Done Perfectly

A pure white, organized appearance of a charity ball was clean, strong, and unbelievably glamorous. The easiest decisions always speak the loudest, and this outfit demonstrated that fact perfectly.
When Prints Go Wrong

A maxi dress highly printed at one of these media events was competing against itself in all directions. Uneasy, too many colours, too many patterns, too little unity to a red carpet.
The Oversized Mistake

A loose blazer dress had entirely engulfed the figure of an attendee during a brand launch. The shade was beautiful, and the fit compromised an otherwise strong and memorable fashion statement.
Too Many Accessories

It was a gorgeous burgundy dress covered with jewelry, a statement clutch and a visible headpiece all at once. This is an art of editing accessories, and this look was in dire need of much of the restraint to be applied.
The Hemline Detail

Otherwise, a beautiful silver sequined dress was spoiled by the noticeable lack of symmetry in the hemline. Minor details are ruthless with red carpet lighting, and this particular one distracted from a truly elegant appearance.
The Colour Clash

Coral mixed with fuchsia was an ill match which could not be saved even by bold pairing. Two gorgeous pieces alone, that just simply did not look right on this particular red carpet occasion.
